PREDICTIONS FOR 2012
Jane and I will be doing our psychic predictions for 2012 in 2011. However there have already been a number of World Predictions for 2012 because according to the Mayan Calendar, the World Will End In 2012.
MAYAN PREDICTIONS FOR 2012
The Mayan Calendar stops on the date 21st December 2012 which many believe is significant because this assumes that there will be no world after this date. This has of course fuelled a lot of speculation amongst seers, fortune tellers and prophets.
Many people including the famous psychic medium Blavatsky became interested in Mayan prophecy and the legends and in particular the legends of the lost continent of Mu that - like Atlantis – disappeared beneath the Pacific. (The name Mu and its legend may however have been an invention of the French scholar Abbe Brasseur, who believed he had translated the Mayan texts – a claim now hotly disputed.)
WILL THE WORLD END IN 2012?
The Mayans were clearly a people interested in apocalypse and prophecy and their predictions have now become the theme of the movie 2012 which I am sure will prove to be a block buster. Some predict that 2012 will not see the end of the world but an end to civilisation which is certainly conceivable with the current unrest and financial meltdown at the time of writing (22 Jan 2009)
OTHER PREDICTIONS FOR 2012
A number of authors have published books that claim that an apocalypse or world-shattering event will happen in 2012. One best-selling example is The Bible Code by Michael Drosnin which predicts that a meteorite or comet will hit the earth in 2012. Other books that forecast a cataclysmic calamity include The Return of Quetzalcoatl by Daniel Pinchbeck which claims there will be a global psychic awakening and a similar theme of an awakening after a global tragedy in 2012 is foreseen in Secrets of the Light by Dannion Brinkley.
PSYCHIC PREDICTIONS FOR 2012
It is evident that the world is certainly in for a rocky journey for some time. I believe however that humankind is here for a long time yet. In my view, we are more than material beings; our consciousness is capable of incredible things and that we will in time see that it actually has power over the material world that gave it birth.
Just being conscious is a miracle in itself but I believe that the evolution of the human capability has only just started. Having witnessed and practiced the arts of mediumship I have concluded that our consciousness is capable of so much more than we give it credit. I believe it can not only respond to our environment but also influences it.
I am undecided about spoon bending as evidence of mind over matter but my own experience seems to indicate that what manifests in my own life is connected to the deeper strata of my being. We do appear to influence the world around us and what appears to happen to us spontaneously is influences by the power of our own willful thoughts and feelings of hope and fear..
This is of course not scientifically proven – unless you take into consideration the fact that the observer appears to influence the quantum world of cosmic particles. I do however think that one day we will discover that the collective consciousness of life on earth is actually moving us safely towards a predetermined goal. I ponder the possibility that evolution, working through random selection, is following a cosmic blueprint with a goal in mind.
The material world is the vessel for the life force to evolve and the goal of this life force is to produce consciousness. This symbiosis of life force and consciousness survives death and evolve as the human body becomes capable of sustaining it and expressing it. As we spiritually evolve I believe we begin to influence the forces that make events happen.
So do I believe the predictions for 2012 – as a psychic I suppose I should but something deep inside me says otherwise: the goal of evolution is consciousness, if it has the power that I believe it has then nothing will stop its progress, not even our own stupidity.
