I have been thinking about this... according to the mayan calendar, the end of the world is Dec 21, 2012. I don't believe the entire world will end then, here's why. I know that I won't die until I'm 45. Now I'm 36... well in October I will be. So I will be 45 about 4 years after 2012. My boyfriend knows when he will die, which is when he's 45. (nice coincidence... I thought so too.) Right now he's 40, so in 2012 he will be 45. Now What I believe is, The world will not end on that date, the Mayan's world will end on that date. I know, I know. The Mayans are gone now, but not really. There are still people who follow in that ancient religion and there are still people of Mayan descent, so technically their world is not quite over. I think a war will break out in 2015. There will be bombs desolating Mexico and the United States, so most people here will die. Apparently I will be out of the country at that time, for some reason, and I do have stuff in works right now to take me out of this country. So that's my theory. What do you think?

hi

Maybe the mayans were gonna complete the calander at a later date or maybe they ran out of stone to complete the rest on Razz no i just heard that in chat and thought it was kinda funny after all the big fuss thats being made over it. Rolling Eyes

To be honest i havent really studied anything on the mayan calander so im not sure if i think it will mean anything at all but i have heard lots believe it will be the start of a whole new level of awareness for us all . people will become more spiritual i'm led to believe.

What puzzles me about your post though is how do you know that you and your fella will die at 45 ? where did this info come from ? Is it just something that comes from your own predictions or did a psychic tell you this ?

The Aztecs believed Cortes was their saviour come to rule them and thus they let him in. He butchered the lot and stole their gold, but he was a fulfilment of their prophecies. Unfortunately they miscalculated and were 500 years too early: their predictions seem to correlate with other cultures' views of the end of the world, and all prophecies tend to a point on this one - 2012 appears to be the ending of a phase of human development and revelation, rather than a single cataclysmic event.

Given some of the stuff I have been working on over the last five or six months, the Apocalypse will be an alarm call for psychic and spiritual phenomena. My soul-mate and I are working on this together and we have come to the conclusion that due to political turmoil within the system in Britain it will be the culmination of all of this which blows the lid off the idea of a materialistic world and opens people up to the idea that magick and psychic work and that God, angels and so on exist and are activist in nature, that is, that they directly interfere in global concerns. There will be no all-out war (a lot of it has already happened over the past thirty years), but it will be a devastating blow to the world order nonetheless.

Luckily it is not going to change the world we live in that drastically, merely open people up to understanding the nature of the universe more fully through horrific political revelations about people we believed to be misguided or arrogant. No-one currently alive should be affected by any violence or war or geological phenomena; most of what can happen has happened and it will be the explanation of the violence perpetrated on innocents already that will be what exposes humankind to the possibilities of spirit and the metaphysical "other".

You often know your date of death, because if you are awake to spirit and to prophecies you can access records like this on the spiritual "Other Side". Premonitions of death occur relatively soon beforehand, and knowing often brings clarity and a sense of peace to life rather than fear.

Actually if you do the research you'd find that even the mayan's didnt believe that in 2012, on December 21, or the 23rd, the world would end..
That is simply the end of the calander that they invented.. 5125 years or 13 Bak'tuns marks the exact date you speak of (they think as it's been translated).
It is a big event for sure... no dispute there..lol
According to researchers the Bak'tun has reset itself twelve times already. The Great Cycle or 13 Bak'tun's ...marks 12/21/2012 and will most likely resets itself.
Point in case, I think it's amazing that they could predict time (from centuries away) to the exact beginning of the solstice in the year 2012.

My predictions for this date are minor panic kinda like the y2k incident as the media and others exploit the date. I also believe this date marks a major event of astronomical value...
possibly only the solstice but guessing much more significant since the mayans were amazing astronomers. I would guess something like the reversal of poles in the earth since it's overdue already. incidentally this has happened several times as well..earth still here.
Hope this helps

Funny enough 2012 is about the date some scientists predict peak oil will occur having devastating consequences for such a large population of ppl, would take about 4 yrs for the effect to be felt...yes?

As I stated..."as media and others exploit the date"
Where there is lack of knowledge, and a fear of the unknown..there is TONS of money to be made.
I believe 2012 is a GREAT date for them to use to "scare" money out of people for fuel research ect...
I am not psychic. I Just see things as they are.

Finally, someone who makes sense!
Did you know that there have been thousands of end of the world predictions in the past two millenia? That's right! My dad was telling me about this book called "Why the earth won't last another ten years" (I think that's what it was called). That book was published 40 years ago.

an interesting thought occurs to me on the mayan calendar..............

at the time it was composed - the people's world only extended a certain distance - it would be interesting to note - it there is a natural ( or otherwise ) disaster in that area of the world at the time that the calendar stops - then the "prophecy " would be fullfilled - the world ( as they would have known it ) would have come to an end ........

as with any doom and gloom end of the world predictions - it is relative - what may be "the end of the world " for one - maybe a natural disaster for another -

I have glimpses of my death, but unfortunantly never find how old I am...all I can make out (its blurry as I am still developing my "abilities") is lots of blood and my boyfriend
