Healing Karma Through Compassion in Action
Through the work of the Hamilton-Parker Foundation, Jane and I are committed to supporting meaningful social service projects in India. For us, this work is not separate from spirituality. It is spirituality expressed through practical compassion.
Over the years, this work has included:
- Feeding impoverished villagers
- Gifting cows, calves and fodder to elderly or destitute people so they can earn a modest and sustainable livelihood
- Supporting orphanages
- Distributing clothing to families in need
- Assisting sadhus and holy men living in hardship
- Contributing to temple restoration projects
- Helping individuals in urgent medical need
Much of this work has been personally funded by Jane and me, alongside generous contributions from supporters and friends of the Foundation. Every donation is treated with care and directed towards practical, tangible help.

Compassion in Action
Whenever possible, I travel to India to personally oversee aspects of this work. This has included organising food distributions, visiting villages, meeting those in need, and ensuring that aid reaches people who genuinely require help.
We also work with trusted local contacts who help us carry out these projects responsibly and transparently.
One particularly moving example was when we helped fund emergency heart surgery for an Indian Naadi reader whose life was in immediate danger. The operation was successful, and today he continues his sacred work. It was a powerful reminder that charity is not always an abstract ideal; sometimes, it is life itself.

Social Service as a Spiritual Remedy
The philosophy behind this work is deeply influenced by the ancient Naadi teachings.
According to these traditions, when we become aware of karmic challenges — whether arising from this life or from previous lives — transformation requires more than belief alone. Spiritual remedies may include mantra, ritual, prayer, meditation and pilgrimage, but one of the most powerful remedies is service.
Acts of generosity — feeding the hungry, supporting the vulnerable, protecting life and relieving suffering — are not merely charitable gestures. They are also karmic remedies.
Service purifies intention. Compassion can shift destiny. Giving creates alignment.
When we help others, both the receiver and the giver are uplifted. A simple act of kindness can become part of a greater cycle of healing.
Video: Examples of Our Work
The video below shows examples of our social service work in India.
You can also watch our professionally made documentary, Mystic Journey to India, which explores this work as part of a wider spiritual adventure. It shows how service, pilgrimage, Naadi teachings and personal transformation can come together on the spiritual path.
How This Work Is Supported
Some of the funding comes directly from Jane and me.
Additional support comes through:
- Theatre events and public appearances
- Donations from supporters
- Contributions connected to our spiritual centre
- Friends of the Hamilton-Parker Foundation
Every act of support contributes to something practical and real: food, clothing, shelter, medical help, spiritual support and dignity for people in need.
A Shared Mission
This work is not about publicity. It is about responsibility.
If we speak about spiritual growth, karma and higher awareness, then these ideals must also express themselves in action. Spirituality without compassion is incomplete.
Through the Hamilton-Parker Foundation, we aim to bring together spiritual insight and practical service — helping to heal lives, uplift hearts and, perhaps, touch the soul.
